It measures (PEF) peak expiratory flow  which is a valuable indicator of lung function and changes in asthma conditions. Peak flows may NOT be used to completely evaluate lung function. The SpiroFlow spirometer is designed for use by patients having a peak flow between 300 and 800 liters per minute.  The Spiroflow measures (PEF) peak expiratory flow which is a vaulable indicator in function and changes in asthma conditions.
